Avis Akola Foundation

We operate out of House Number 1506 in Adarsh Nagar, which is part of Akola in the Chittorgarh district. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s pretty quiet compared to the main city center. Our building is just a house that we’ve converted into a workspace. It feels a bit more personal that way, like we are part of the neighborhood instead of just another office. Rajasthan can be a tough place with the heat, but being in Adarsh Nagar is nice because there are a few trees around. We have been here for a bit, and the local people know us as the folks at 1506. We don't go in for big advertisements or loud signs. We just do our work quietly. The rooms are simple, with just enough furniture to get by. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine, but it works for us. We handle everything from this small house. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, or the power goes out, but we just take it as it comes. It’s a practical way to run things. Akola is a decent place to be based, and we’ve gotten used to the daily routine here. We aren't trying to change the world overnight; we just take it one day at a time from our little spot in Chittorgarh. It’s an honest living and a simple space to call home for the foundation. We don't have a fancy board of directors, just a few committed people sitting at old desks and trying to keep everything organized. It’s simple, really.
