Ankit Coffee Cafe

Our cafe is located right by the Pratapgarh Railway Station in Ward No 10. It is a very busy spot because of all the trains coming and going at all hours. People come in with their heavy bags, looking for a quick cup of coffee before they catch their train or right after they arrive. We are also quite near the Bank of Baroda, so we get the staff from there during their lunch breaks. The place is small and it can get quite dusty inside because of all the movement and traffic outside. I spend a lot of my time just sweeping the floor. It is not exactly the quietest place to sit and relax, but it is very convenient for travelers. I have been working here in Tehsil-Sadar for quite a few years now. I can tell when the main trains are pulling in just by the sound they make. We do not have a big fancy menu with lots of options. Just basic coffee, tea, and some biscuits if you are hungry. The ceiling fan makes a clicking noise that I have stopped noticing after all this time. Most days it is just me and one other person helping out with the orders. We handle everything from making the drinks to washing all the cups and saucers. It is constant work from the time we open until we close the doors. Sometimes travelers tell us stories about where they are going, which is interesting.
