If you go behind the Panchajanya Food World on R.S. Road, you'll find our place. Zrona Fashions is tucked away in Hindupur and we've been working here with clothes and textiles for a while. The address is #4-1-192/29 and it's basically where all the cutting and stitching happens. It’s not a big glamorous showroom like you might see in a city. It’s more of a practical workshop where we handle fabrics and get orders ready. We have a few sewing machines and plenty of thread everywhere. Some days are really loud with the machines running, but we've gotten used to it. Hindupur has a lot of history with this kind of work, so we fit right in. We deal with different styles and sometimes the deadlines get a bit tight when a big order comes in. We don't really do much advertising because most people just find us by word of mouth or by walking past the food world. The heat in Anantapur can be quite something in the afternoons, so we try to get most of the heavy work done early in the day. It’s a simple life running a fashion business here. We aren't trying to change the world, just making clothes that people can wear. The floors are usually covered in scraps of cloth by the end of the shift, and we just clean it up and start over the next morning.
