Wpai

We have been at 13-258 on Old Ket Street for a while now. Chittoor can get pretty hot during the summer months but we just keep the fans going and get on with our work. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a plain space where we sit and handle things. Sometimes the street outside gets a bit noisy with the local traffic and people walking by, but you get used to it after a few days. We usually start our mornings by opening up the shutters and dusting off the desks. It is just a few of us here. We handle the Wpai tasks day in and day out. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are if they need to drop something off. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address on the door. It’s a practical setup. We drink a lot of tea from the shop down the road while we sort through papers and manage the computer work. If you walk down Old Ket Street, you’ll see our spot near the other shops. It’s a bit of a crowded area but it has everything we need close by. We don’t really do much in terms of decorating. The walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and some notes tacked up. It feels like a real workplace where things actually get done instead of a showroom. We’ve stayed in this part of Andhra Pradesh because it’s where we live and it makes sense for us.
