Virgin Soft Drinks

Virgin Soft Drinks is based out in Padamati Palle, which is part of the Gajjalakonda area. Our place is at 3-47-120. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the big cities, but that suits us just fine. We spend our days bottling and moving crates of soda around. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside, but someone has to do it. We started this as a small family thing and it’s stayed that way. We don't have any fancy robots or massive assembly lines. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure the bottles are filled right and the caps are on tight. The floor is usually a bit wet from the washing process, so we always have to wear boots. People from the village often stop by to pick up a few cases for weddings or parties. We don't really do much in the way of selling ourselves, the product just goes out to the local shops. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait to start the machines again, which can be frustrating. But we just sit outside and talk until it comes back on. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide some cold drinks for the local folks in Gajjalakonda. It’s a basic business but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We take pride in the simple work we do here.
