Vedhik Exports and Imports Private Limited is based at 20-91/D-1 on the Tirumala By-Pass Road. Being on the bypass road means we see a lot of trucks and heavy traffic all day long. It’s a perfect spot for an export-import business because the transport routes are right there. The office is often a bit noisy because of the engines outside, but we’ve gotten used to it. We deal with all sorts of goods coming in and going out. There’s a lot of checking manifests and making sure the customs papers are in order. Our space is mostly storage and a small area for the desks. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a dedicated sales team. Most of our work comes from being reliable and getting things moved on time. The sun beats down on the bypass road in the afternoon, making the office pretty warm, but we just keep the fans going and stay focused on the logs. We spend a lot of time coordinating with drivers and warehouse people. It’s a lot of manual tracking and phone calls. We aren’t trying to be a massive multinational; we just want to handle our corner of the export market properly. The location is the most important thing for us. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and the routine of the road has become a big part of our daily work life.
