Varshini Trading Co.

We are located out on Lakshmireddypalli Road. It’s a bit quieter than being in the middle of a big city, which we actually prefer. Varshini Trading Co. started as a small idea and just grew into what it is today. Our building at 5-896-78 is where we spend the bulk of our time. It’s a practical space. We’ve got a lot of items coming in and going out, so the floors are usually covered in scuff marks from the pallets. We don't have any polished floors or bright lights. Most of the light comes from the big open doors during the day. We keep things simple. The staff is mostly from the surrounding area, and we’ve all learned the trade by just doing it. We don't have a handbook or a big list of rules. We just know what needs to be done when a truck arrives. Sometimes the road gets muddy after a big rain, and that slows things down, but we just deal with it. It’s a basic operation. We track things with pens and paper mostly, though we have a computer for the official stuff. It feels like a family business even if we aren't all related. We drink tea together in the afternoons and talk about the day’s work. There aren't any big promises or fancy slogans here. We just show up, do the trading, and head home when the job is finished. It's steady and predictable.
