The office is easy to find because it is right there on the main road in Lakshmi Nagar. We spend most of the morning getting things ready before people start coming in. It is a ground floor spot at D. No.8-2. We have been in Chittoor for a while now. Some days it is quiet, other days there is a lot of paperwork to sort through for the fund. We just handle the accounts and make sure everything is recorded properly. It is not a fancy place, just some desks and chairs. We usually have the door open so the breeze comes in from the road, though it brings in some noise too. Penumuru is a busy area, especially during market times. Dealing with chit funds means we see a lot of the same faces every month. We know who is coming and when. It is just how we do things here in Andhra Pradesh. Sometimes the power goes out, so we just wait it out or use the ledgers. It is a steady job. We do not have any big slogans or anything like that. We just open up in the morning, do the work, and go home to our families in the evening. That is pretty much the whole story of this office. We do not try to be something we are not. It is just a local business for local people. We keep the books clean and the door open for anyone from the neighborhood.
