Panakkal House is where we are, at number 156. South Chittoor is a decent place to work from. Ubeckons Consultancy (Opc) Privatelimited is a one-person setup mostly, though I have some help from friends sometimes. It’s not a big glass building or anything fancy like that. Just a converted room set up for doing business. Most days are spent looking at computer screens or talking on the phone with people about their business problems. This house has been in my family for a long time, so it feels comfortable. It is much quieter here compared to the main road. I usually start working around nine in the morning. Sometimes I’m a bit late if the traffic is bad near the bridge. I don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. If you come by, you’ll just see a regular house with a small sign on the gate. We handle various consulting jobs as they come in. It’s mostly paperwork and managing digital files. I try to keep things organized, but my desk usually gets messy by Wednesday afternoon. I like being in South Chittoor because it’s not too hectic for me. There’s a bakery just down the street that has good snacks for the afternoon. Being an OPC means I have to do everything myself. One minute I’m the boss and the next I’m trying to fix a paper jam. It’s a lot of work, but it keeps me busy and out of trouble.
