You can find us at Shop Number 2 in the Kences Hotel Complex here in Tirupathi. Being inside a hotel complex means we see a lot of different faces every single day. People are always coming in with suitcases, looking a bit tired from their journey and asking about how to get to the hills or the next town over. Our shop is not very big, so it gets crowded pretty fast if more than three people walk in at once. We have a few posters of local landmarks on the walls that have started to fade a bit over the years. We spend most of our time staring at the computer screen or talking to drivers on our mobile phones. It is a lot of coordinating and making sure everyone is in the right place at the right time. The hotel lobby is just a few steps away, so we get to know the staff there pretty well too. We don't go in for any big marketing talk. We just tell people the price and the time, and then we do our best to make it happen. Sometimes the printer jams or the internet goes slow, but we just work around it. It is a small operation, but it keeps us on our toes from morning until late in the evening. Most of our day is just spent helping visitors navigate the city.
