Tempo Traveller For Higher & Tours

Our place is over in Pk Layout, at 13-6-600-44/12A. It’s a residential-feeling area but we run the tempo travellers from here. We have the vehicles parked nearby. It started small with just one van, and now we have a few more. We do tours and we also let people hire the vehicles for their own trips. Mostly it's families or groups of friends going to the hills or nearby towns. The office is really just a spot where we keep the keys and the logbooks. It’s not fancy at all. We spend more time in the vehicles or on the phone than sitting inside. Managing the drivers and the maintenance takes up most of the day. Tires need changing, oil needs checking, it’s constant. We don't have a big website or anything. Most people just have our number or they see the vans parked in Pk Layout. We try to be fair with the prices. It’s a tough business because fuel costs keep changing and the roads can be quite difficult. We just do our best to stay busy. If you need a big vehicle for a group, that’s what we have. We’ve been in Tirupati for years and know the traffic patterns well. Sometimes we’re out late waiting for a group to return. It’s a long day but it keeps us going. We just take it one booking at a time and move on.
