Srujana Supermarket

You can find Srujana Supermarket right on M G Road, very close to the Kodur Railway Station. It’s a good spot because people coming off the trains often need to grab something before heading home. Being near Thirupati means we get a lot of travelers passing through as well. The building number is 10-10, and it’s a pretty large space compared to some of the other shops nearby. We try to keep a wide variety of things—vegetables, grains, and all the usual household stuff. It gets very crowded when a train arrives, so we have to be quick at the registers. I spend a lot of my time making sure the fruit looks okay and that nothing is past its date. The lighting isn't the best in the back corners, but we’re working on that. My cousins help me run the place during the holidays. We’ve been here for a few years now. It’s a lot of responsibility keeping everything stocked up. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble finding us among all the station traffic. We don't use any loud speakers or flashy ads. The locals know us and the travelers find us easily enough. It’s a busy life, but we like being near the tracks. You get used to the sound of the whistles after a while. It’s just part of our day at the supermarket. We stay open until the last big train comes in for the night.
