We are located right at 2-72 Santhagate in Yadamari. If you know the post office area, we aren't too far from there. The office isn't anything fancy, just a room with some chairs and a few desks where we keep the registers. Most days it’s just us sitting here, waiting for people from the mandal to drop by with their payments or to ask about the next draw. Chittoor gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan running full speed. It’s a local operation, so you’ll mostly see the same two or three people every time you come in. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now, and the neighbors know us well. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. Dealing with chit funds means a lot of manual entries and double-checking numbers, which takes up most of our morning. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we handle the monthly cycles for the groups. People from the village come in, have a glass of water, finish their business, and head back out. It stays busy around the start of the month when everyone is trying to get their bits sorted. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the corner desk. That is just how it goes in a small office like ours here in Yadamari.
