Sri Venkateswara General Stores

Sri Venkateswara General Stores is located at 4/571 on Suddhaguntal Street in Sainagar. It is a small place we run every day. We get up early to open the shutters and start arranging the packets of things people need. Most people in the neighborhood know us by now. It is a simple setup with shelves for soaps, dal, and rice. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the wind on Suddhaguntal Street, but we try to keep it tidy enough. There isn’t much to say about it except that we stay here from morning until late at night. The regulars come in for a chat while they buy their groceries. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a regular shop where we keep track of what is running out and try to order it before the week ends. Being in Sainagar is okay, it stays busy during the evening when people are coming home from work. Sometimes the kids come in for a small candy or a pen for school. We handle the billing ourselves on a small desk. It gets hot in the summer, so we keep a small fan running behind the counter. We’ve been at this address for a while and most folks around here are friendly. We just do our work, keep the stock ready, and make sure the door is open for anyone who needs something for their kitchen or house.
