Sri Kalahasteeswara Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are just a bunch of people from around Kothur Rural who decided to get together as Sri Kalahasteeswara Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our office is over at 2-189, and it’s usually pretty busy with folks coming in and out talking about crops. Farming isn’t easy these days so we figured doing things as a group makes more sense than trying to handle everything alone. Most of us have been in these fields in Sri Kalahasti for a long time now. We handle the paperwork and try to figure out where to sell what we grow without getting a bad deal. It is a bit messy sometimes because we are still learning how to run a company while also spending half our time in the dirt. You’ll mostly find us talking about seeds or how the weather is acting up this year. We don’t have fancy desks or anything like that. Just some chairs and a lot of talk about how to keep the farms going. It’s hard work and the days are long but being in 25-Kothur keeps us close to home. We hope to make sure the families around here have a way to keep farming without losing money every season. Sometimes the rains don't come and sometimes the prices drop but we just keep showing up at the office and trying to find a way through it all together. It is not always easy but it is what we do.
