Sri Gayathri Distributors

Our warehouse is right on Mg Road in Chandra Mouli Puram, which is a busy part of Sriram Nagar. Sri Gayathri Distributors is basically just a place where things come in on big trucks and go out on smaller ones. It’s loud and there’s always someone shouting directions or checking a list. We deal with boxes all day long. Some are heavy, some are light, and we have to be careful not to drop the ones that rattle. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s boiling outside in Sriram Nagar. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us moving pallets or drinking tea during a quick break. We spend a lot of time on the phone making sure the orders are right, though mistakes happen sometimes and we have to fix them. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking serial numbers. My clothes usually have a bit of grease or ink on them by the end of the shift. We’ve been at this location for a while now, so the drivers know exactly where to turn off Mg Road to find us. It’s a practical business. We don’t do much advertising because our work is just getting goods from one point to another without breaking them. It keeps us on our feet from morning until the sun goes down over Chandra Mouli Puram.
