SPR Machines

SPR Machines is out at 4-3-272 in Vijalapuram, Ramakuppam. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from the area. The building is an old one, and we have lived with the quirks of it for years. We deal with various machines and parts, so the floor is usually covered in a bit of metal shavings or oil spots that never really go away. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when we are testing something out. The walls have some old calendars and posters pinned up to cover the peeling paint. We have a small desk in the corner for the ledger and the phone, which rings more than you’d think. People from around Ramakuppam come to us when they have issues with their equipment. We aren't fancy, and we don't wear uniforms or anything like that. Just old clothes that can get dirty. Sometimes we have to wait a week for a specific part to arrive from the city, and that can be frustrating for everyone. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the morning, so we have a faded awning to keep it a bit cooler inside. We just do the work that comes in and try to keep the machines running. It’s a lot of hands-on stuff, and we prefer it that way. No big corporate meetings here, just us and the tools and the work at hand. It is a simple life and a busy one.
