Somu Store

Somu Store is a small place located at 12-45A on the Aragonda Road in Kanipakam. If you live around here, you probably know the spot. It's not a massive warehouse, just a local store where we keep the essentials. We have things like grains, oil, and some snacks on the counters. The shelves are wooden and we built some of them ourselves to fit the space better. Kanipakam can get quite busy during certain times of the year, but mostly it's just the local folks walking over from their houses. The Aragonda Road brings in some dust, so we are always wiping down the glass jars. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It's just the name Somu Store above the door. We spend our days talking to the neighbors and helping them find what they need. Sometimes we run out of things if the supplier doesn't show up on time, which is frustrating, but people understand how it is. We keep a notebook to write down what we need to order next. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving. It’s a decent place to work. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just a reliable one for the people who live on this side of Kanipakam. Most of our day is spent just tidying up and waiting for the next person to walk in.
