Shyam Eye Clinic

Our little clinic is at 77 Bazaar Street. It’s a very busy street, right near Jain Jewellers. If you are coming for an eye checkup, you have to navigate the crowds and the shops, but that’s just life in Tirupati. Shyam Eye Clinic is where we spend our days looking at eyes and testing vision. The space is simple. We have the equipment we need and some chairs for people to wait. Because we are on Bazaar Street, there is always something happening outside. Sometimes it’s loud, but we are used to it. We see all kinds of people, from old folks who can't read the paper anymore to kids who need glasses for school. We don't have a fancy reception desk with a computer that does everything; we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way. It works for us and our patients seem to like the personal touch. If you need your eyes looked at, you just come up to number 77. We try to be quick but some people need more time to get their prescription right. We don't try to sell you the most expensive frames or anything like that. We just want you to see better when you walk out. The clinic is a small part of a very big, busy market, and we like it that way. It feels like we are right in the middle of everything, doing our small part.
