Our group is based out of Kuppiganipalle, specifically at the place linked to Omtri Haridas. Real Gudipala Farmers Producer Company Limited is a bit of a long name for a group of people who mostly just care about the soil and the rain. We are out here in Ramapuram post, and it’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway. We decided to group up so we could have a bit more say in how our produce gets handled. It was getting too difficult to do everything alone. Now, we meet up at the village house and figure out who needs what. Maybe it is fertilizer or maybe it is just a better way to get the bags to the market. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to find us in the fields or at the office after the sun goes down. The work is tough, and the money isn't always what we hope for, but we stay at it because it’s what we’ve always done. We deal with the crops we’ve grown for generations. It’s a simple life, really. We just want to make sure the farmers in our little corner of the world get a fair shake. That is why we are here, sitting in Kuppiganipalle and doing the daily chores.
