Our office is on the first floor on Piler Main Road. It’s in Chinnagottigallu Mandal in Chittoor. We are at Pasupuleti Neelima’s place. We are a group of farmers who decided to work together as Praneeksha. Farming in Chittoor has its own set of challenges. We grow various things depending on what the season allows. Most of us have been doing this since we were young. We aren't really office people, so you’ll usually find us out in the fields or at the market. But we needed a place to do the formal stuff, so we set this up. It’s a bit noisy because of the main road, but it’s easy for everyone to reach. We share tips on how to keep the pests away and what fertilizers are working. We don't use any big words or complicated plans. We just want to sell our produce for a decent amount so we can keep going next year. The paperwork can be a headache, but we take turns helping out with it. It’s a group effort through and through. We don't have a lot of money for big signs or marketing. We just rely on each other and the people we know. It feels good to have a place where we can all meet and figure things out. Life is busy, especially during the sowing season. We just do our best with what we have. Even when the sun is beating down on us, we keep at it.
