Poji Travels

We are located over on Old Tiruchanur Road in Tirupati. It’s a part of town that has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed in the same spot for quite some time. Poji Travels is basically a small operation run by a few of us who know the local roads and routes well. The office isn't much to look at from the outside. We have a few old calendars on the walls and a wooden desk that’s seen better days. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones coordinating with the various drivers. It’s a lot of back and forth all day long. The road outside is usually quite busy with pilgrims and local traffic going to the temples. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just do our work and hope people are satisfied enough with the trip to come back. Most of our days are spent checking vehicle maintenance or looking at the travel schedules. It’s a lot of routine. We have a small bench outside where drivers wait and have their tea in the mornings. It’s a very casual atmosphere here. We don't use any corporate talk or make any big promises we can't keep. We just tell you what time the car will be there. It’s honest and straightforward. Some days are slow, and we just sit and talk about the local news. Other days, the phone doesn't stop ringing and we stay busy.
