Mokshagna Supermarket

Running Mokshagna Supermarket keeps us on our feet all day long. We are located at 5-486 on the Alipiri Bypass Road in Siva Jothi Nagar. Being near the bypass means there is always a lot of noise from the buses and trucks going past. We opened this place because the neighborhood needed a spot to grab things without going all the way into the main city. It’s a decent-sized room, but it always feels a bit cluttered because we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves. Sometimes we run out of things like sugar or oil before the next delivery comes, and customers get a bit annoyed, but we do our best to keep up. The floor is tile and it’s a pain to keep clean with all the dust blowing in from the road. We have a few staff members, mostly local kids who need a job during the summer. We don't have a fancy computer system for everything; a lot of it is still written down in a ledger or just remembered. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us. The lights flicker sometimes when the power fluctuates, which is just part of living in this area. We aren't trying to be a big chain like the ones you see in the malls. We just want to be the place where people in Siva Jothi Nagar can get their groceries and have a quick chat.
