Manu Ice Cream Parlor

If you stand by the main bus stop on KP Street, you will see our small parlor right there. It is a very busy spot here in Chowdapalle Village. People are always waiting for their next ride to Chittoor or one of the other towns, so they often pop in while they have a few minutes to spare. The shop is not very big at all, and it can get a bit crowded when a large group of travelers comes in all at once. We have a few stools for people to sit on, but mostly they just stand around or head back out to catch their bus. The floor gets a lot of dirt and sand from the street outside, so we have to sweep it out several times a day to keep it tidy. We have been in this village for a good while now. The building is nothing special, just a small functional space that we have made our own over the years. We have a small fridge for cold drinks and the main freezer for the ice cream. Sometimes the bus drivers stop by for a quick break if they are running a bit ahead of their schedule. We know most of the people who live and work on KP Street by their names. It is a loud area with all the horns and the bus engines, but we actually like the energy of the street. It keeps us from getting bored during the day. We usually close up once the last bus has gone for the night.
