L&T Ecc

Our little office for L&T Ecc is located right in Ithepalli village, which is part of the Chandragiri area in Chittoor. It's a quiet spot, really. Being in the 517102 pin code means we are a bit away from the main city rush, but that suits us fine. S. Sabjahn’s place is the landmark people usually look for when they are trying to find where we are based. We've been operating out of this village for some time now. The work we do is pretty straightforward. There are no big shiny signs or anything like that. We just have our desks and our files and we get on with it. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit messy, but we still show up and do what is required. Life in a village like this is quite different from the big cities. Everyone knows everyone else, so we try to be helpful when people come by with questions. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know the area well. We handle the local side of things for the company. It’s mostly about making sure the details are right and the projects stay on track. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in. It’s not a fancy job, but it is necessary work. We like being part of the community here in Andhra Pradesh. It feels good to work in a place where you can see the fields.
