Kissan'S Mart Chilli Farmers Producer Company Limited

We put together Kissan'S Mart right behind the HP petrol bunk on the bypass road in Bangaraiahnagar. It is a very handy spot for all the trucks that are passing through. We are just a local group of chilli farmers who decided to pool our resources a few years back. The address is 11-11-198/1 but most folks just find us by looking for the bunk. We spend almost all of our time dealing with big bags of dried chillies and talking to the people who grow them. It is dusty work and we usually go home covered in it. The office is not anything special to see. It is just a place to sit down and try to get the paperwork finished. We started this whole thing because doing everything by ourselves was getting way too difficult. Now we have a common place to organize things. The traffic on the bypass road is always loud but we have gotten used to the noise by now. Most of us live right nearby and have been in the chilli trade for a long time. It is not a glamorous life but it pays the bills. We deal with the ups and downs of the market every single week. Sometimes the prices are good and sometimes they are really bad. We just take it as it comes. It is a real local operation. We do not have a receptionist. If you walk in you will find us checking weights.
