We have shops 12 and 13 inside Prakash Plaza, which is right near Hotel Sarovar in Tirupathi. It is a convenient spot for us because so many people stay at the hotel and then come looking for a way to travel further. The plaza itself is usually buzzing with people going in and out of different shops. We have been in these two units for quite some time, and the space is filled with old ticket stubs and folders. Usually, you will find one of us behind the counter talking on the phone or writing down seat numbers. We handle the bus routes and local tours, mostly just making sure people get their tickets and know where to stand when the bus arrives. It isn't a quiet job, especially when several people are asking questions at once. We have a small bench out front where customers can wait if they get here early. The air conditioning in the plaza works most of the time, but we still keep a small fan on the desk. We know the bus drivers by name and they usually stop by for a quick chat before they head out on their routes. It is a very straightforward way of working. No big speeches or complicated systems, just regular people helping other people get to where they need to go across the state.
