Our office is tucked away at 25/19 in Valliyappanagar, which is part of the Greamspet area in Chittoor. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a nice enough spot. Joneslanglasallemeghraj has been based here in Andhra Pradesh for a while. The building is older, with thick walls that keep it somewhat cool during the summer months. We deal with property consulting and land matters mostly. It is not a glamorous job, just a lot of checking records and talking to different people about boundaries and prices. We have a small porch where we sit sometimes when the power goes out. The interior is mostly filled with wooden desks and some old chairs that have seen better days. We get a lot of local folks coming in with questions about their plots. The vibe is very local; we speak the language and know the history of the plots around here. It gets quite busy on market days because people are already out and about in town. We keep a ledger of all the visitors, though sometimes we forget to ask them to sign it. There are some trees outside that provide a bit of shade in the afternoon. It is a practical office for the kind of work we do. We don’t need anything more than a desk and a working pen to get through the day. We just take things as they come.
