Our place is situated at 50/89 right on the Main Road here in the Sanswadi area of Pune. It’s an easy spot to find because the road is wide enough for the larger equipment to move in and out without causing a total traffic jam. Working with John Deere equipment means we see a lot of heavy machinery and parts coming through the doors. The workshop and the storage areas are usually buzzing with the sound of tools or the humming of engines being tested. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is on fixing things and getting them back out into the fields or onto the construction sites. We don’t worry much about keeping the floors spotless because that’s just not possible with the kind of work we do. There’s usually a bit of grease and oil around, which is a sign that things are getting done. The staff here knows these machines inside and out, and they spend a lot of their time helping customers figure out exactly which part they need for a repair. We get people coming in from all over the Pune district because of our location on the main road. It’s a straightforward job, and we take it one piece of equipment at a time. No one here is wearing a suit and tie; we’re in our work clothes, ready to handle whatever comes through the gate. It’s busy and loud, but it’s how we work.
