J Mart

J Mart is located right at 1/18/24 on Bazzar Street in Vedurukuppa Mandal. It’s a small shop in a busy part of the village. We carry a bit of everything because you never know what someone might need when they walk in from the fields or the nearby houses. The bazaar is always full of life, especially on market days when people come from all over the mandal to trade. Our shop is a bit cramped, with boxes stacked in the corners and items hanging from the ceiling to save space. We don't have air conditioning, so we just keep the doors open and use a couple of old fans to keep the air moving. It gets dusty, but that’s just life on Bazzar Street. We know most of our customers by their first names and we usually have a quick chat about the weather or the crops while we’re ringing up their items. We aren't some big chain store with a manual for everything. We just do what makes sense for the people around here. If someone is short a few rupees, we usually tell them to just bring it next time when they are passing by. It’s a simple way of running things, but it’s how we’ve always done it. We’re just here to provide what the community needs and keep the shelves stocked as best as we can. It’s a good life, being right in the middle of everything.
