Govt School

This Govt School is tucked away in Kotha Kandrika. You’ll find us right near the local health centers, which is a landmark most people in the village use when they’re giving directions. Being a government school means we handle a lot of students from the surrounding area. The building is simple and has been around for many years. It’s got that look of an old institution where the hallways have seen a lot of feet pass through. In the mornings, you can hear the kids chatting before the first bell rings. It’s a bit noisy because the health center nearby always has people coming and going. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just the standard name on the wall. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep going with the windows open for light. The playground isn't anything special, just some open space where the children run around during their break. We have a few benches that have seen better days. It's a basic setup, but it serves the families here in Kotha Kandrika well enough. Most of us who work here have lived in this area for a long time, so we know the families personally. It’s just a place for learning, without any extra bells and whistles. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many kids and the dirt roads nearby, it’s a constant job. It’s a humble spot for sure.
