If you look behind the Venkateswara Theatre on Old Tiruchanoor Road, you will find our place. It is a busy part of Tirupati with a lot of people moving around all the time. We have been here for years, watching the movies change on the big screen next door while we handle our daily business. The road outside is always full of rickshaws and motorbikes, especially in the evenings when a new show is starting. Inside our office, we have some old maps pinned to the wall and a calendar that we forget to flip sometimes. We handle travel stuff, mostly just arranging cars for families or people visiting the city for work. It is a practical operation, nothing too flashy or complicated. We spend our mornings checking the oil and tires on the vehicles parked nearby. The drivers usually hang around out front, chatting and waiting for their next trip. We have a small table where we sit and talk to anyone who walks in. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes us slow down, but there is always something to do, like cleaning the windows or updating the ledger. It feels like a part of the neighborhood here. People know the name because we have stayed in this same spot behind the cinema for so long. It is just a regular local business doing what we know how to do.
