Former Welfare Foundation

We are based out of Reningavaram village. Our address is 1-6, and we’re part of the J Panguluru area. It’s a quiet place, not like the big cities where everything is moving too fast. Former Welfare Foundation is run by locals who grew up around here and know the land. Life in the village moves at a different pace, and our work reflects that. We don’t have a flashy office with glass walls or shiny floors. It’s a plain building, very functional and lived-in. We spend a lot of time talking to neighbors and people from the nearby villages who stop by. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench if the weather is nice. There’s not much traffic on our road, mostly just bicycles, some goats, and the occasional tractor going to the fields. We keep all our records in some old metal cabinets. They’ve been with us since we started years ago. Sometimes the internet is a bit patchy, so we do things the old-fashioned way with pen and paper. It’s just how things are in this part of the country. We don’t mind it much. It feels more honest to work this way. Most of us walk or bike to the office every morning. We’ve known each other for a long time, so the atmosphere is very casual. We don't wear suits or anything formal. Just regular clothes that are comfortable for the heat.
