Engineer Customer Support

I handle engineer customer support from my place in Athur Village. My father is Gramachandrareddy, and most people in the village know our family. We are located in the Nindra Mandal area of Chittoor District, which is a bit of a distance from the big cities in Andhra Pradesh. My day usually involves answering calls and helping people figure out technical issues they are having with their equipment. It is not a typical office job because I am often working from the village, but the technology we have now makes it possible. I sit in my room with my phone and a notebook, taking down details and trying to troubleshoot problems for folks who are often quite frustrated. Kaliyambakam Post is where our mail goes, and it is a quiet, rural life for the most part. The pace of life here is slow, but the work can get quite busy depending on what is breaking down that day. I like being able to stay in my home village while still doing this kind of technical support work. It is important to help people understand how their machines or systems are supposed to work. I don't use a lot of scripts or corporate talk; I just listen to what the person is saying and try to find a way to fix it. People appreciate that I talk to them like a normal person and not a machine. It is a decent way to earn a living and stay connected to my roots while doing something useful.
