Started this shop in Lakshmi Layout because I lived nearby. It is just a small room at 14-517. Most days it is quiet until the afternoon when people finish work. I spend a lot of time looking at tiny screws and wires. Sometimes the fan makes a weird clicking noise but I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. People come in asking for things I don't always have, so I tell them to wait a few days. It is not a fancy place. The walls could use some paint, honestly. Mostly we just deal with basic stuff, things people use every day that stop working. My cousin helps out when he can. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name. Kuppam is a decent place to be. You get to know everyone's name after a while. I keep the receipts in a drawer that sticks. It is just a regular life here. Sometimes I drink tea while waiting for a customer. If you walk past Lakshmi Layout, you’ll see the door is usually open unless it’s raining too hard. It gets dusty inside from the road, so I have to wipe the counters every morning. It’s nothing special, just a place to get things sorted when your gadgets act up. I’ve been sitting on this same stool for years now. It works for me. I don't think I'll ever move.
