Tirupati is where we are, right on High Road at 1-4-51. It’s a busy spot. Most days, we just get here early, open up the metal shutters, and start looking at the engineering jobs that came in the day before. We’ve been doing this for a while now. It’s mostly just metal work, fixing things that broke, or making parts that people need for their own machines. The shop isn't fancy. There’s grease on the floor and the machines make a lot of noise, but that’s just how it is. Sometimes a customer comes in with a sketch on a piece of paper and we have to figure out how to make it work. It takes time. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. Just the workspace and the tools we use every day. If you walk past on the High Road, you’ll probably hear the drilling or the sound of metal hitting metal. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when we have a lot of welding to do. We usually take a break for tea when the sun is highest. It’s not a complicated life. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get the dimensions right. People around here know where to find us if they have a mechanical problem. We just keep our heads down and work until the sun goes down and then we lock up. It's just a regular local workshop doing engineering stuff.
