Assistant Executive Engineer

It is pretty quiet here at D. No. 10-39 in Ranga Reddy Colony most mornings. We are tucked away in Madanapalle, which belongs to Chittoor District. The Assistant Executive Engineer stays busy with the local projects that come through this door. It isn't a fancy office with big glass walls or anything like that. Just a regular spot where the work gets done. Most days, you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood while we look over papers and plan things out. The heat in Andhra Pradesh can be a bit much sometimes, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. People from around here know where to find us if they have something to discuss about the engineering side of things. We have been in this spot for a while now. It feels like a part of the local community more than a cold business office. There is always a lot to keep track of, and the days go by fast. Usually, we are just focusing on the next task at hand without making a big fuss about it. It’s practical work. We don't spend much time on decorations. The walls have maps and schedules. That is about it. It’s just how we operate here in this corner of Madanapalle. No need for anything more than a desk and a chair and some good old-fashioned effort to keep things moving.
