We are located over at 22 Idayarteru, right in the Thiruppathur area. Most days start pretty early because that is when people notice their TV signal is acting up or the dish got moved by the wind last night. We carry our tools and ladders out to the bikes and head out to different parts of Tirupati. The sun gets quite hot by noon, so we try to finish the roof work before it gets too bad. Being in Sivagangai means we know the shortcuts through the narrow lanes around here. Sometimes the cables get chewed by monkeys or just wear out in the rain, and we have to replace them. It is not fancy work but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The office is just a small place where we keep the spare remotes and set-top boxes. Sometimes people drop by to pay their bills or ask why a channel is missing. We just sit there, check the system, and try to get it sorted. The neighbors know us well since we have been in this spot for a while now. If you walk down Idayarteru, you will see our small sign. It is a bit dusty because of the road traffic. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we organize the paperwork. It is just a few of us here making sure the local TV sets keep running without too much trouble.
