Academic Consultant

This is where we manage academic consulting, specifically linked to the Department of Statistics at SV University over in Tirupati. It is a bit of a unique setup because we work so closely with the university environment. Being located on campus means there are always students walking by and plenty of academic energy in the air. We mainly deal with data, numbers, and helping researchers get their projects in a format that makes sense. It is very quiet work, mostly focusing on the small details in datasets that others might easily overlook. Tirupati is a busy town with all the pilgrims, but the university has a much slower rhythm to it. We do not have a big office with a front desk or a lobby. It is really just a place where we sit down and look at statistical models for hours on end. Dr. Veera Raghava Reddy is the main person here, and he has been doing this for a long time. Sometimes the math gets really complicated, and we spend all afternoon trying to figure out where a single digit went wrong. It is definitely not glamorous work. The office is full of old books and stacks of paper that have been sitting there for months. We just do our best to support the academic work happening in this part of Andhra Pradesh.
