Vidya Coffee

Our place, Vidya Coffee, is located at 39/2 in Aradavalli Village. It’s part of the Amble Hobli area, which is a very quiet and green part of the country. We aren't a big industrial factory. It’s more of a local setup where we process the coffee that grows around here. The air always smells like earth and plants. Most of us grew up in this village, so we know every path and every neighbor. The work is very tied to the seasons. When the harvest comes, everyone is working long hours out in the sun. We have some older equipment that needs a lot of grease and attention to keep running. It’s a simple life, away from the noise of the cities. We don't have a website or a marketing department. We just do the work and sell the beans to the regular buyers. Sometimes the power is out for half the day, and we just sit outside and talk until it comes back on. The road into the village can be a bit rough, especially after the heavy rains. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and it’s just what we do. We don't think much about being a "company." We just see ourselves as part of the village, making sure the coffee gets processed and sent off like it should. It’s hard work, but it feels right to be out here in the fresh air.
