Tejas Juice

We are located at 120, Manjinagiri Homestay in Chikmagalur. It is a nice area with a lot of greenery and trees around. We started Tejas Juice because people staying at the homestay or just walking by wanted something fresh to drink. It is not a big city shop with neon signs. It feels more like a part of the house. We use a lot of local fruits from the plantations around here. Sometimes we have pineapples, and other times it is something else entirely. It depends on the weather and what the local growers have. We have a few wooden tables outside where people can sit. It is very peaceful here compared to the main town area. We do not really have a big sign, just a small one painted on wood. Most people find us because they are already staying nearby. We spend our mornings cleaning the fruit and getting the ice blocks ready. It is a slow pace of life, which we like. We enjoy talking to the travelers who come through. They have a lot of stories from their trips. We just provide the drinks and a place to rest for a minute. It is a family thing, mostly. My cousin helps me when it gets busy on the weekends. We do not have a fancy menu. We just tell people what is in the fridge that day. That is pretty much it.
