Suryodaya Digital Studio

We are located right on the Main Road in Hiriyur. If you are near the PWD office, you can’t really miss us. We’ve been doing digital studio work for a while now. It started out with just a couple of cameras and a computer, and we just kept going from there. The shop isn't very big, but we have enough space for the backdrops and the lights. People come in for all sorts of photos, mostly for official papers or family stuff. It gets quite crowded on festival days or when there are weddings nearby. We try to get the prints out fast, but sometimes the printer acts up or the power goes out. That’s just life in Hiriyur. We see a lot of people from the surrounding district coming through. We don’t really do any big advertising. Most people just know we are here because of the sign out front. It’s a simple setup. We spend a lot of time sitting at the desk editing or checking the colors. The lighting in the studio part is something we’re always messing with to get it right. It’s a job that keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We keep a few spare chairs for people waiting for their turns. Sometimes the kids get restless and run around the shop, but it's fine. We just keep focusing on the camera work.
