Sriranga Granites

If you're driving down Challakere Road, you'll see Sriranga Granites. We are right nearby the Vinyaka Dhaba, which is a good landmark because everyone knows the food there. We’ve been at this location for a while. It’s a straightforward stone yard. We mainly focus on granite because it’s tough and holds up well for the kind of work people do around here. The yard stays pretty busy with trucks coming and going. We spend most of our mornings organizing the slabs by size and color. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, your hands are always rough from the stone, but we like it. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights. People usually find us because they’re eating at the dhaba or they live in the nearby area. We just talk to people like neighbors. If someone needs a slab for a counter, we show them what’s on the racks. We don’t have a sales team or anything like that. It’s just us. We know our stone pretty well though. We can tell you where a particular slab came from just by looking at the pattern. Some days it’s quiet and we just sit in the small office and catch up on paperwork. Other days, it’s a constant stream of people needing something cut or loaded. It’s a steady pace of life here on Challakere Road. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
