R-Square Design Pvt. Ltd is located way out in Chikmagalore district. We’re in a place called Devagondana Halli, near the Kalasapura Post. It’s a lot different from being in a big city like Bangalore or Delhi. Out here, it’s much quieter. You can actually hear the birds and the wind through the trees. We’re surrounded by a lot of greenery, which is nice when you’re spending all day looking at designs. The pace of life in Chikmagalore is slower, and we try to let that reflect in how we work. We don’t rush things just for the sake of rushing. The office is a simple building, nothing fancy. Most of the people working here grew up in this region, so we all know each other pretty well. It’s a small team, and we often have lunch together outside when the weather is good. Being away from the city means we don’t get many walk-in customers, but we stay connected through the phone and internet. It’s a peaceful way to run a business. We focus on our work and try to do a good job without all the stress of city traffic. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy during the monsoon, and we just watch it from the porch. It’s a good place to be, and we’re happy to be here in this quiet corner of the world.
