We are based out of Chitradurga, specifically at Anu Nilaya in Vidyanagar 1st Main. It’s the home and office of M Anantharaju, where Pvm Agro Tech Private Limited runs its operations. Being in Chitradurga gives us a different perspective than if we were in a big city like Bangalore. We are closer to the actual farms and the people who work them every day. Our focus is on agro-tech, trying to bring some modern ideas to the local farming community. It’s a humble setup. We don’t have a glass front or a big sign. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just knowing where Anantharaju’s place is. We spend our time testing out small bits of technology that might help with crop yields or water usage. It’s a lot of trial and error. Sometimes a new piece of tech sounds great but doesn't work in our specific soil. We try to be honest about that. The pace here is a bit slower, which allows us to really look at the problems farmers are facing. We drink a lot of tea and talk through things. It’s not corporate; it’s just local folks trying to find better ways to do things that have been done the same way for years. We hope the tools we provide make the hard work of farming slightly easier.
