Mahesh Agencies has been at 254 in Doddaghatta for a while now. It is a quiet spot, but we stay busy enough with the locals and some of the smaller shops around. When we first opened, we weren't sure how things would go, but Doddaghatta is a good place to be. We mostly deal with supply and distribution of common goods that people need every day. The building isn't brand new or anything, it has a bit of character from the years we have been here. Sometimes the stock piles up a bit high in the corners, but we know where everything is. It is just a few of us working here, so we all do a bit of everything, from answering the phone to moving boxes around. We aren't trying to be some big corporate office; we just want to do our job and go home at the end of the day. You won't find any slick salespeople here, just regular people who know the products we carry. Most of our neighbors stop by just to see what’s new or to ask a question about a shipment. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. If we have something, we tell you. If we don’t, we see when it might come in. That’s just the way things work at 254. It is a practical way to run a business, and it seems to suit this area just fine. We appreciate the people who keep coming back to see us even after all this time.
