We are set up at 5-69-241 on B H Road. Being in Chikmagalur, things move a bit slower than the big cities, which suits us just fine. G K B P & Co. isn't a massive corporation; we're just a small team working out of this office. B H Road can get a bit noisy with the buses and trucks going by, but once you step inside, it's mostly just the sound of us typing or talking on the phone. We've been at this address for a good while now. The building is older, but it does what we need it to do. We spend a lot of time looking at ledgers and dealing with local paperwork. It’s the kind of work that isn't very exciting to talk about, but it’s what we know. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when things quiet down a bit. We don't have fancy furniture or a big sign out front. Most of our visitors are people we’ve known for years. It's a local business through and through. We just try to get the work done by the end of the day so we can head home. There’s always more to do tomorrow anyway. We like being part of the community here on B H Road. It’s a familiar place and the people around here are mostly friendly. It’s not a high-stress environment, but we stay busy enough to keep things ticking along. Sometimes the rain in the hills makes the commute a bit of a mess.
