Dharani, 8th Cross. Prashantha Nagara. J M Road. Chitradurga is a town of rocks and history. Chinmuladri Constructions is our small business here. We called the office Dharani. It's a simple place on 8th cross. We do all kinds of construction work around Chitradurga. Since the weather is so dry and hot, we have to be careful about how we use the water and the materials. We use a lot of local stone because it's what we have and it works best for the heat. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's mostly me and a few guys who have been doing this since we were young. We grew up seeing the fort and the old buildings, and that's the kind of strength we try to put into what we build. Sometimes we take on a project that’s too big and we have to work late into the night under some lamps. It’s tiring but it’s good to be busy. We know everyone on J M Road. Most of our work comes from people who walk past our office and see us working on plans. We don't have any awards or anything, just the houses that people are living in now. We keep our tools clean and our prices fair. That's about all there is to it. If you need a wall built or a house started, we're here. We are just local people building for our own community and making sure things stay standing.
