Our practice is based right here in Chitradurga. It’s a historic place to live and work, though our day-to-day is mostly focused on the present-day tax laws of India. We are a small group of accountants helping out the local community with their financial records. Whether it’s GST registration or just filing a personal income tax return, we take it on. The office is a basic setup. We spend hours going through bank statements and receipts that people bring us in plastic bags or folders. It's a lot of data entry and double-checking figures. Chitradurga has its own pace, and we fit right into it. Most of our clients are people we’ve known for years. They come by the office, we have a quick chat about how things are going, and then we get down to the paperwork. It can get pretty hot here during the summer months, which makes the office work a bit slow, but the deadlines don't change. We have to keep moving. There isn't any fancy branding or big signs. Just a place where you can get your taxes sorted out without too much fuss. We try to keep up with the digital changes the government keeps pushing out. It’s a lot of learning on the fly sometimes.
