Chand & Company

Chand & Company is over at 5-9-65, Gopalapura Road, in the Jcr Extension. It’s a fairly busy area, and we’ve been part of the neighborhood for quite some time. The building is an older one, and we’ve adapted it to fit our needs over the years. We do a bit of everything here, mostly focused on the trading side of things. It’s usually a bit of a scramble in the mornings when everyone arrives and we start planning out the day’s tasks. The office has piles of ledgers and documents because we still like to keep physical records of most things. We have a couple of old fans that make a lot of noise but they keep the place cool enough. Jcr Extension has grown a lot lately, so there are more shops and businesses around than there used to be. We get a lot of walk-ins who are just looking for information or local folks dropping by for a chat. We aren't big on formal meetings or anything like that. Usually, if we need to discuss something, we just do it over a cup of tea in the main room. The street outside can get pretty congested, which makes loading and unloading a bit of a challenge sometimes. But we’ve lived with it for so long it doesn’t really bother us anymore. It’s just a regular local business doing its thing on Gopalapura Road every day.
